Ruby was born to Morgan W. Galloupe in Lewistown Montana, She was the eldest of 4 children.
She was raised in Lewistown with the help of her Grandmother Berniece E. Dorsey.
Ruby spent most of her working years as a secretary, at Civil Defense in Walla Walla, United Paint, and DSHS
in Spokane. Later she became a care giver for Home Options in Kalispell, and worked helping others well
into her 80s, she was such a blessing to many here in the Flathead Valley, helping them thru the later
stages of their lives.
She raised 3 children in the mid 60's thru the 70's as a single parent. Making sure they
never went with out anything they needed.
Ruby loved her many cats she had over the years, and often said, you were never fully
dressed with out some cat hairs on your clothes. She loved gardening, and raised anything
she could get her hands on, flowers, vegetables, and trees. In the 60s and 70s, her gardens
were more than a hobby, as she raised vegetables and canned them for the family. She
enjoyed her grandchildren and often wished she could see more of them. Burt was the only
grandchild here in Kalispell, and she spent as much time with him as she could. In the late 90s she
moved from town out to live on the farm with her daughter Sarah, husband Jerry and grandson Burt
west of town, building a cute mother in law house designed by Sarah and built by close friend Bill.
