Cindy Renae Skramstad, 62 was born in Minot, ND on November 21st 1957, to Ervin and Vivian (Hime) Pierson
Cindy moved to Montana at a young age and lived in many places along the highline moving to Kalispell in 1977. While working at the El Rancho Café as a waitress she met the love of her live, Brad. As fate would have it Brad and Cindy realized they were born in the same hospital in Minot, ND. Cindy married Brad Skramstad on June 6th, 1980. In 1983 Cindy and Brad welcomed their daughter Ashlee Lynn into the world.
Cindy was busy working many jobs in her life but after Brad’s injury she spent her time taking care of her family. In addition, she volunteered for Girl Scouts and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Through those organizations she added many people to her life that grew into family. Cindy had a heart of gold and was loved by all those around her. Cindy loved to hunt with Brad, but she never missed an opportunity to be blinged out and wear her purple camo.

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you Home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. – Ron Tranmer
